Team Charter Rough Draft

Post  BryceWatson on Sun Sep 14, 2008 11:58 am

After a morning of toil I have what I think is a fairly complete rough draft for our team Docus (Michael's name) team charter.
I'm going to send it out to everyone in an email so check to make sure you get it!

I want to make it very clear that I improvised a LOT while making this, so I think it's important for everyone to read it through and make changes. I don't want anyone to feel like I made unfair assumptions, and that is quite possible considering the lack of discussion we had about everything contained in here. So please, read it through and propose any changes in this forum so I can add them in and revise it. My goal here is just to give us a plump rough draft to work with.

Let me know what you all think!

Team charter looks great~
I can see lots work that you did. To me this document was a complete one than rough draft.
Just making sure for decision making, so we're going for consensus, and then if there's a conflict we're voting for it? right?
I don't think we're gonna have any conflicts, but just checking.
And I like the part for Rewards, Celebrations Very Happy

Thanks! I was feeling very motivated this morning so I gave it my all.
I tried to make it clear that all of our decision making is done Democratically (AKA. Concensus). I might not have stated that specifically in the conflicts part though, I can add something to make that clear.

Thanks for the feedback!

I've looked it over and have passed on some changes to Bryce. Nothing major at all.

As for the team roles, I suggest that we just throw together some random fancy titles. By no means do we have to keep to these roles in a sense that Bryce as a forum moderator, is the only one that can do this job.

I've thrown out stuff like Editor, Researcher, Presentation something, Tech guy (guess who thats for geek ), Team Lead/Organizer. Not really sure what everyone wants to be "assigned" to.

oo I volunteer to be researcher!
lol these roles don't really relate well to the project, as we will all take on these rolls from time to time, but its fun none the less.

We can finalize all the rolls tomorrow!

Document is complete and I have uploaded it to subversion. Don't forget to sign it tomorrow before we hand it in, spaces left on the last page.
